I’m currently a first year student at UTS, studying a bachelor of science. I was born on the 10^th of November in Australia and have a Bengali cultural background. Both of my parents have brought me up in a society which is quite different to theirs, however they have never let me forgotten my roots.

Through my high school years at Macarthur Girls, I took the initiative to write in our daily newspaper. From there, I learnt that expressing my views in text was something I enjoyed. My inspiration to write is the constant shifts within our society today which has inspired me to write for Sangbad Australia.

I hope and believe Sangbad Australia readers will enjoy my articles and fill me up with positive and negative feedback to take my writings skills further.

Without who I could never be able to get courage to write is my advanced English teacher Ms Hallahan, she helped me through out to develop my profound interest in writing. I would like to thank her.
