Champions League Twenty20: Ferguson lead to South Australia victory
Callum Ferguson fired with the bat to lead South Australia to a comprehensive 19-run Champions League win over Kolkata Knight Riders, keeping their hopes alive in the Twenty20 tournament in India.
South Australia batted first and managed a competitive total of 5-188 with a fantastic partnership by Callum Ferguson and Daniel Christian of 80 runs.
South Australia then did the job with the ball, the Knight Riders finishing well short at 9-169 from their 20 overs.
Kolkata have now lost their opening two matches in the round-robin group stage, while the SA will next face Somerset in a match which could decide the second team to go through in Group B.
