8 Notes

Few music lovers of Sydney one day got together and decided to start a new journey choosing a vehicle named ‘8 Notes’ that is made of melody, harmony, rhythm, and timbre. That journey of our band ‘8 Notes’ began in March 2010. 8 Notes is a soft rock band but it ranges from hard rock, pop, folk, and fusion. Bangla music comprises a long tradition of religious and secular song-writing over a period of almost a millennium. Moreover, band music came in to existence in Bangladesh in 1970s. The aim of our band is to share few of those great songs with our community and others as well. We do not believe band music attracts only the new generations. We firmly believe music do not have any age barrier and can touch any heart regardless how old we are. Some of the names that give us inspirations are Azam Khan, RockStrata, Warfaze, Fuad, Winning, Milies, Pink Floyed, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, A.R Rahman.
