Brutality on a Bangladeshi in BD-Indo Border by India’s Border Security (BSF)
It has been happening in Bangladesh India border for a very long time. Lots of initiatives were made before by Bangladesh government to resolve the tension between two borders but all in vain.
The Indian government who is well aware of killings and torture at the border by BSF, but has never prosecuted the troops responsible. Also, so called Bangladesh Government couldn’t take it to further so that this never happens in future.
Until now nobody would have realised the brutality of BSF, if the video of torturing a Bangladeshi named Habibur Rahman wouldn’t have published in Social Media YouTube. The horrific video which was captured by one of the BSF member to threaten other Bangladeshi got leaked while the member of the BSF had gone to transfer his mobile data in a nearby Cyber Café at Murshidabad district of West Bengal.
The video shows members of the BSF’s 105th Battalion stripping Bangladeshi cattle smuggler Habibur Rahman, tying him up and beating him, while laughing and engaging in verbal abuse.
The BSF men illegally detained and tortured him and then left him to make his way back home instead of handing him over to the police as required by the Indian law.
Indians often portrait themselves by saying, Mera Bharat Mohan (The India is Great). After seeing this video one will have hard time to believe that how great India could be as neighbour. This kind of torture is no less than the torture normally seen at War. It is clear that India treats its Border with Bangladesh as no less than a Warzone.
In regards to condemn this, the New York-based rights watchdog expressed deep concern over the recent incident of torture over Habibur Rahman. They have mentioned that the Indian Border Security Force has long been implicated in torture and extrajudicial killings near the border with Bangladesh and such practices will no longer be tolerated.
However, despite clear evidence of abuse, to date no criminal charges have been filed against any soldiers.
Those who haven’t seen the video yet, here it is.
(The video could be disturbing for some audience)

Is it real? Or a Bollywood movie.
Can’t believe we live in 21st Century but true that the invention of mobile phone helped seeing this brutality.
Those soldiers should be put in fireline. Rubbish
This kind of act is untolerable.
Bangladesh should take this issue further and condemn the situation at Border.
Shame on Indian Border Security Force.
