History:

Bangladesh has a 9 months long history of war with Pakistan (21st March 1971 to 16th December 1971). For Bangladeshi the war was to save the nation and its mother language from the so called Pakistani Government.

On this day in 1971, the Pakistani Army had surrendered to end their war with Bangladesh. This was the end of a brutal war where Bangladeshi had lost over 100 thousand of innocent and intellectual people. But the taste of victory was a real joy for Bangladesh thus the day Celebrated as The Victory Day for Bangladesh and Bangladeshis round the globe.
